First Harvest... In disguise

We had an yellow tomato ripen weeks earlier than its little friends - it's officially our first harvest. I took a photo to remember it forever.

Then I thought maybe, just maybe, we should have a bit more fanfare. So I snagged this pic. Too formal?

Veggies galore!

That's what we are hoping for, at least. This is our newest project -- a raised veggie bed! I have planted two kinds of lettuce, carrots, spinach, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, and tomatoes and peppers are going in today. With luck, something will live. It would be nice to have fresh veggies this summer!
